Immersive program in India exposes students to startup businesses
This summer, a diverse cohort of undergraduates worked at early-stage startup companies in Bengaluru as part of the Princeton’s M.S. Chadha Center for Global India (CGI) and Keller Center’s Princeton Start-Up Immersion Program (PSIP) in India. Students lived as a group and participated in programs — including speakers, workshops and visits to other companies — aimed at broadening their understanding of entrepreneurship. The thematic focus of the start-ups aligned with the Center for Global India’s major focus areas: sustainability transitions, AI for social good, and social equity and mobility.
PSIP-Bengaluru was made possible through the generous support of Sumir Chadha ’93, former Princeton trustee and co-founder and managing director of WestBridge Capital.
Through their daily work with startup companies, students experienced the fast-paced world of emerging businesses. In this video, they share some of their insights.
